About us
AI capability is being sold faster than it is being understood. ai.cognite was founded to close that distance — to make artificial intelligence legible to the people who have to decide about it, govern it, and work alongside it every day.
Our story
The name puts AI next to cognition — knowing, recognising, making sense of. It is the opposite of the way most organisations experience artificial intelligence: a black box that arrives with confident claims attached and leaves everyone quietly unsure what just happened.
We take the lid off. In a training room that means explaining how these systems actually work, including where they fail. In a consultancy engagement it means showing our reasoning, naming the risks, and telling you when the honest recommendation is to wait.
Our mark is a constellation — scattered points that only become a pattern once somebody shows you where to look. That is the job.
Mission
Every organisation we work with should end up able to explain, in its own words, what its AI does, why it was chosen, who is accountable for it, and what happens when it gets something wrong.
Vision
Fear and hype produce equally bad decisions. Literacy is the only durable defence against both.
Our values
We sell no tools and take no vendor commission. Our advice answers to your business case and nothing else.
If a concept cannot be explained without jargon, it has not been understood well enough to teach.
We say when AI is the wrong answer, when the data is not ready, and when the responsible move is to wait.
Success is your team not needing us. Every engagement is designed to leave capability behind.
Leadership
Four people, each reachable directly. Direction, delivery, operations and commercial — the roles that decide whether an engagement is worth your time.
Founder & Chairman
Founded ai.cognite and sets the direction of the firm. Chairs the board and leads its long-term commitment to AI literacy as a public good as well as a commercial service.
Chief Executive Officer
Leads the company and its delivery practice. Accountable for the standard of every programme and engagement that carries the ai.cognite name.
Director, Operations
Runs delivery operations: scheduling, trainer allocation, client logistics and the quality controls that keep every programme running to standard.
Director, Commercial
Leads commercial strategy, partnerships and client relationships. First point of contact for organisations scoping a programme or a consultancy engagement.

Why clients choose us
Consultancies that only advise leave you dependent. Trainers who only teach leave you inspired but stuck. We do both deliberately.
Exercises use your documents, your systems and your sector's regulation. Generic examples do not transfer.
Capability is baselined before we start and assessed after we finish, so you can see what changed.
Ready when you are
A short introductory call costs you half an hour and commits you to nothing.
